Our Story

Elevate Church was launched in January of 2012 by Pastor Thomas-Steele and Haley. Surrounded by family and friends, they all dreamed, not of having a big church, but of making a big impact. The only number that matters to us is one. The one who is lost, the one who is hurting, the one who feels hopeless and rejected and ashamed. The one who feels burdened and broken. The one who has yet to be found and welcomed home and had their broken pieces put back together by the grace and love of God. And so with that mentality, and a passion for simplicity, Elevate Church began with laser focus on loving God and loving others, and loving others the way God does, unconditionally. Our vision, was and remains true today, to be a community where anyone and everyone can come and feel welcomed, wanted, and loved, regardless of their past. We know that whatever may be true about a person, there is a truth that is preeminent above them all, and that is that they are loved by God. Instead of demanding, "work harder to do better or be better," we want to invite everyone to come, and simply find rest in the One Who is better... and His name is Jesus. 

Elevate Church remains as committed as ever to making an impact on our community with the life-changing love and message of Jesus. Our focus continues to be to serve others and celebrate Jesus. Our passion continues to grow to see more people added to our family here at Elevate, and most importantly, brought into the family of God. Bottomline... we just want to continue keeping things simple; loving God and loving people with all our might.
