Learning to Embrace the Lonely Place

Aug 2, 2020    Pastor Thomas-Steele Carr    Luke 5:16

Have you ever felt alone? Disconnected? Surrounded by people, yet isolated somehow? Technology has made us more connected than ever, yet, studies increasingly show that we are lonelier than ever. And with the safety measures of social distancing and self-quarantining because of this pandemic, connecting with people isn't as easy as it used to be. So what do we do? Zoom meeting? Facetime? Or do we look to Scripture and see how God has always had a way of making lonely places serve greater purposes? Join us as we discuss the idea of learning to embrace the lonely places we may be experiencing, and the courage that comes from realizing we're never really alone.
